How does Profile Reveal work in Hoot Mode?

Profile Reveal is how you show who you are in Hoot Mode. It depends on how you matched.

You’re both in Hoot Mode

1. Tap the chat icon at the bottom of the screen and open the Hoot chat.
2. Tap the three dots (top right).
3. Tap Propose Mutual Reveal.

When they accept, you’re both revealed at the same moment. Not a yes this time? No worries, you can propose again later.

One of you is already visible

If you send a Hoot invite to someone whose profile is visible, you stay anonymous and they don’t.

• You sent the Hoot invite: tap the three dots in the Hoot chat → Reveal Your Profile whenever you’re ready.
• You received it: tap the three dots in the Hoot chat → Send Reveal Request to ask them to reveal.
